About the Role
Fiscorp Legal is looking for a Paralegal / Legal Associate with 2–5 years of experience to support our legal team in legal research, documentation, drafting, case management and client coordination.
The ideal candidate should be legally sound, organised, detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare research notes.
- Assist advocates in drafting legal notices, applications, replies, letters and other legal documents.
- Assist in preparation of petitions, pleadings, affidavits and case documents.
- Prepare case summaries, chronologies and documentation.
- Maintain and update case files and legal records.
- Track court/tribunal hearings, deadlines and important dates.
- Assist with online filings and submission of documents.
- Prepare annexures, indexes and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with clients for collection of required documents and information.
- Coordinate with courts, tribunals, government departments and other authorities as required.
- Assist in matters relating to Corporate Law, IBC, NCLT/NCLAT, Labour Laws, Taxation, Property/Land Matters and Regulatory Matters.
- Prepare and maintain case trackers and document trackers.
- Assist the legal team with day-to-day administrative and procedural requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and legal documents.
Candidate Profile
Qualification:
- LL.B. / 5-year integrated LL.B. preferred.
- Candidates with relevant paralegal/legal support experience may also be considered.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or legal consultancy.
- Experience in litigation support and legal documentation will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of legal research.
- Strong drafting and documentation skills.
- Good command of English.
- Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to organise and maintain legal records.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
- Professional approach towards clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as with the legal team.

Preference will be given to candidates having exposure to:
- NCLT / NCLAT matters
- IBC matters
- Corporate & Commercial Laws
- Labour & Employment Laws
- Property / Land-related matters
- Taxation and regulatory matters
- Court and tribunal procedures
- Government department liaison and documentation
