About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Boutique Manager to take full ownership of our boutique's operations — from the shop floor to the digital storefront. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends retail management with creative and digital responsibilities. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable styling a product flat lay, managing paid ads, and closing the books at end of month.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Operations & Management
▸ Oversee all daily boutique operations including opening, closing, and floor management
▸ Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to visual merchandising standards
▸ Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate replenishment orders
▸ Liaise with suppliers for purchase orders, deliveries, and returns
▸ Recruit, train, schedule, and lead boutique staff to ensure optimal coverage and performance in future.
2. Sales & Customer Experience
▸ Drive in-store sales by setting targets conversion and upselling
▸ Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service at every touchpoint
▸ Build and nurture a loyal customer base through relationship management and follow-up
▸ Handle escalated complaints, returns, and exchanges with professionalism and care
▸ Monitor and improve KPIs including conversion rate, average transaction value, and footfall
3. Social Media Presence & Digital Advertising
▸ Manage and grow the boutique's presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest
▸ Plan, create, and publish engaging content including reels, stories, carousels, and lifestyle posts
▸ Develop and execute paid social media ad campaigns (Meta Ads, Instagram Promotions) with defined budgets and target audiences
▸ Track campaign performance metrics (reach, engagement, ROAS, CTR) and optimize accordingly
▸ Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions to maintain brand voice and customer engagement
▸ Stay ahead of social media trends and seasonal content opportunities to keep the brand relevant
4. Website Management & Product Upload
▸ Upload new products to the e-commerce website with accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, and tags
▸ Ensure all product listings are optimized for search (SEO) with relevant keywords and categories
▸ Manage website content including banners, homepage features, and promotional landing pages
▸ Coordinate with web developers or platform support (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) for technical issues
▸ Monitor website UX, identify drop-off points, and suggest improvements to increase online conversions
▸ Keep the online store in sync with in-store inventory and pricing at all times
5. Product Photography & Creative Direction
▸ Plan and execute in-house product photography shoots (flat lays, on-model, lifestyle, and detail shots)
▸ Style products for shoots in line with current trends and brand aesthetic
▸ Operate camera equipment and lighting setups, or coordinate with a freelance photographer as needed
▸ Edit and retouch images using tools such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or Canva
▸ Build and maintain a library of high-quality product images for use across website, social, and ads
▸ Ensure image consistency across all digital and print channels
6. Financial Management & Reporting
▸ Prepare and manage the store budget, track expenses, and monitor P&L performance
▸ Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and present actionable insights to ownership
▸ Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation
▸ Monitor digital revenue including online sales, ad spend ROI, and cost per acquisition
▸ Prepare financial summaries and operational reports for management review
▸ Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth levers across both in-store and online channels
Qualifications & Requirements
▸ 3–5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion or boutique environments
▸ Proven experience managing social media accounts and running paid digital ad campaigns
▸ Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar
▸ Proficiency in product photography, styling, and image editing (Lightroom, Photoshop, or Canva)
▸ Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics)
▸ Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
▸ Financially literate with experience reading and preparing sales and P&L reports
▸ Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
▸ Bachelor's degree in Fashion Retail, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred, not required)
