Key Responsibilities:
- Chemical Analysis:
- Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses on drymix products, including raw materials and finished goods.
- Utilize techniques such as titration, spectroscopy, chromatography, and other analytical methods.
- Quality Control Testing:
- Perform quality control tests to ensure compliance with internal specifications and regulatory standards.
- Document test results accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
- Method Development:
- Develop and validate analytical methods to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement improvements as needed.
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and investigate deviations in product quality and propose corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze and interpret analytical data, preparing reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvement.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage laboratory inventory, ensuring availability of necessary reagents and supplies.
- Coordinate the disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a quality control or analytical chemistry role, preferably in drymix or construction materials.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in laboratory analytical techniques and instruments; experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen focus on precision and accuracy in testing.
