Design and architect SolarWinds solutions to monitor network devices, servers, applications, and other IT infrastructure components.
Install and configure SolarWinds products, including network monitoring, server monitoring, and log management solutions.
Monitoring Configuration:
Define monitoring requirements and configure SolarWinds monitoring tools to track performance, availability, and health of network and IT resources.
Set up alerts and notifications to proactively identify and address issues.
Performance Optimization:
Fine-tune monitoring settings to optimize performance and reduce resource consumption.
Adjust polling intervals, thresholds, and alert settings to balance monitoring accuracy with system impact.
Alerting and Incident Management:
Configure alerts and triggers to notify IT teams of critical issues and outages.
Develop incident management workflows to respond to alerts effectively.
Network and Infrastructure Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve network and infrastructure problems using SolarWinds monitoring data.
Investigate connectivity issues, bandwidth utilization, and other network-related concerns.
Capacity Planning:
Monitor resource usage trends to forecast capacity needs and plan for infrastructure upgrades.
Provide recommendations for scaling hardware and resources based on monitored data.
Reporting and Documentation:
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on network and system performance.
Maintain documentation on SolarWinds configurations, monitoring policies, and incident response procedures.
Integration and Automation:
Integrate SolarWinds tools with other systems and IT management platforms for a comprehensive monitoring solution.
Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline tasks and responses.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security measures to protect SolarWinds infrastructure and data.
Ensure monitoring and management practices comply with relevant industry regulations and security standards.
Vendor Interaction:
Collaborate with SolarWinds representatives and support teams to address product-related inquiries and issues.
Stay updated on new product features, updates, and best practices.
Change Management:
Follow change management processes when implementing configuration changes and updates to SolarWinds solutions.
Training and Skill Development:
Continuously learn about SolarWinds products and related technologies to enhance expertise.
Provide training to internal teams on using SolarWinds tools effectively.
System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Secondary:
Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure SCOM servers, management groups, and related components.
Set up communication between SCOM components and agents on monitored systems.
Monitoring Setup:
Define monitoring requirements based on organizational needs.
Configure management packs to monitor various IT resources like servers, applications, services, and network devices.
Alert Management:
Configure alert rules and thresholds for different monitored resources.
Set up notification channels to ensure IT teams are promptly informed of critical alerts.
Incident Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues related to SCOM monitoring, such as missing data or false alerts.
Investigate the root cause of incidents and provide solutions.
Performance Tuning:
Optimize SCOM performance by adjusting data collection intervals and configurations.
Monitor resource utilization on SCOM servers to ensure smooth operation.
Reporting and Documentation:
Generate regular reports on monitored resource health, performance, and availability.
Maintain documentation of SCOM configurations, rules, and procedures.
Basic Scripting and Customization:
Write basic scripts or workflows for custom monitoring scenarios.
Customize monitoring templates, rules, and monitors to align with specific requirements.
Collaboration:
Work with other IT teams to understand monitoring needs and align SCOM configurations accordingly.
Collaborate with support teams to address and resolve incidents efficiently.
Security and Compliance:
Implement security best practices to safeguard SCOM infrastructure and data.
Ensure SCOM monitoring complies with relevant security and compliance standards.
Training and Skill Development:

Change Management:

Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of changes.
Basic Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide basic support to IT teams and end-users regarding SCOM-related inquiries.
Assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues between agents and SCOM servers.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,250,000.00 per month
