Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced HR Executive to manage payroll operations and statutory compliance activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of payroll processing, Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and other labor law compliances, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all related processes.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll with accuracy and within defined timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, deductions, and reimbursement data.
- Prepare salary statements, payslips, full-and-final settlements, and payroll reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements during payroll processing.
- Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payroll matters.
PF & ESI Administration
- Manage employee enrollment, exits, and updates under PF and ESI schemes.
- Prepare and submit monthly PF and ESI contributions within prescribed timelines.
- Handle PF transfer, withdrawal, claim settlements, UAN-related activities, and ESI benefit documentation.
- Coordinate with government portals and authorities for statutory compliance and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of all PF and ESI transactions and documentation.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers, records, and reports.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll and compliance.
- Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely filing of returns and remittances.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations, labor laws, PF, and ESI provisions.
HR Operations Support
- Maintain employee master data and HR documentation.
- Support onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and exit formalities.
- Generate HR MIS reports and compliance dashboards for management review.
- Assist in policy implementation and employee communication related to compensation and benefits.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, and labor law compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll/HRMS software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling payroll for medium to large employee populations.
- Familiarity with government compliance portals and HRMS/payroll systems.
