Role Overview
SAP CPI Consultant responsible for designing developing and managing integration flows between SAP S4HANA SAP DRC e invoicing Vertex tax engine and external government portals using SAP BTP Integration Suite CPI
Key Responsibilities
1 CPI iFlow Development Integration Design
Design and develop SAP CPI iFlows for e invoicing and tax integration scenarios
Build integrations between
oSAP S4HANA
oSAP DRC E Document framework
oVertex tax engine
oExternal e invoicing portals APIs
Implement synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns
2 E-Invoicing Vertex Integration Enablement
Enable CPI integration for
oInvoice data transmission and validation
oTax calculation and response handling Integrate across modules
oFI ARAP SD Billing MM Invoice processing
Handle end to end invoice lifecycle with external systems and compliance layers
3 Adapter Configuration Connectivity
Configure CPI adapters
oHTTPS REST SOAP IDoc SFTP OData Establish integration with Vertex tax engine
oGovernment e invoicing portals
oThirdparty taxfinance systems
Manage connectivity security and certificates
4 Data Mapping Transformation Perform message transformations using
oGraphical mapping
oXSLT
oGroovy scripting
Map SAP invoice and tax data to
oVertex formats
oCountryspecific e invoicing schemas
Ensure payload validation enrichment and error handling
