PGT Mathematics
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive Mathematics lessons as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare yearly, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
- Cover core areas such as Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, and Statistics.
- Simplify complex mathematical concepts using visual aids, real-life applications, and problem-solving techniques.
- Prepare students for Board Exams and competitive exams (JEE foundation guidance if required).
2. Practical & Activity-Based Learning
- Conduct activity-based and application-oriented Mathematics sessions.
- Integrate technology tools (such as graphing software, presentations, and simulations) into teaching.
- Guide students in mathematical projects, assignments, and model-making.
- Encourage logical reasoning and analytical thinking through problem-solving sessions.
3. Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare question papers, assignments, and model test papers.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluate answer scripts.
- Analyze student performance and provide remedial coaching.
- Maintain academic records and submit reports to management.
4. Student Mentoring & Development
- Provide academic counseling and career guidance.
- Motivate students to participate in Mathematics Olympiads and competitions.
- Support slow learners and encourage high achievers.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide feedback on student progress.
5. Institutional Responsibilities
- Participate in staff meetings and training programs.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
- Assist in admission demo classes if required.
- Support school events and academic initiatives.
Education
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics (Required)
- B.Ed. (Preferred/Required as per school norms)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of teaching Mathematics in CBSE curriculum (Required)
Location
- In person - Arcot, Tamil Nadu (Arcot – 632512) (Required)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
