Job description:
About Potafo
At Potafo, we're on a mission to bring local flavours to your doorstep — faster, fresher, and better. As we expand across towns and hubs in Kerala, our restaurant partnerships are the backbone of our growth. We're looking for a Vendor Relationship Manager who is passionate about building strong, lasting partnerships with restaurants — someone who can own vendor success, drive hub-level growth, and deliver results through relationships, not just transactions.
What You'll Do
· Own Hub Performance: Manage key restaurant accounts in Calicut — drive hub revenue, order growth, and vendor performance metrics.
· Build Vendor Relationships: Be the go-to contact for high-value restaurant partners; ensure consistent engagement, better AOV, and long-term retention.
· Grow Partner Revenue: Promote platform products like sponsored listings, visibility packages, and campaigns to help partners grow on Potafo.
· Track & Optimize: Monitor orders, AOV, ratings, prep times, and SLA adherence — spot gaps and act fast.
· Run Campaigns: Execute seasonal promotions and hub-level growth initiatives with vendors and the marketing team.
· Activate & Retain Vendors: Onboard new vendors, reactivate dormant ones, and keep the partner base healthy and engaged.
· Negotiate Commercially: Lead pricing and partnership discussions with a relationship-first approach.
· Field Visits: Make regular vendor visits, resolve escalations, and ensure smooth on-ground execution.
· Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Marketing, Ops, Support, and Tech for a seamless vendor experience.
What You'll Need
· 2 - 4 years of experience in Vendor Management, Account Management, or Partner Relations roles.
· Proven ability to manage high-value vendor or partner accounts with a relationship-first approach.
· Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and ownership of performance targets.
· Experience working with platform visibility products, ad packages, or promotional campaigns is a plus.
· Strong analytical mindset — comfortable reviewing dashboards, vendor metrics, and performance data.
· Skilled in negotiation and commercial discussions with a consultative approach.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain strong long-term partnerships.
· High ownership mindset with a hands-on, execution-driven attitude.
· Comfortable with regular field travel and in-person vendor visits.
What You'll Get
· Full ownership of hub-level vendor performance and growth strategy
· A role where relationships matter as much as results — you build partners, not just pipelines
· Fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with real impact
· Clear career progression within the Business Development / Growth vertical
