Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT Staff Nurse for the Gynecology & Obstetrics department. The candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons during gynecological and obstetric procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining OT protocols, and providing high-quality perioperative nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre for gynecology and obstetric surgeries.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
- Ensure availability, sterility, and proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards.
- Handle OT documentation and patient records accurately.
- Assist in emergency obstetric procedures such as C-sections and other gynecological surgeries.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing teams for smooth surgical workflow.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety protocols.
- Manage OT consumables and maintain inventory requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of gynecology and obstetric surgical procedures.
- Strong understanding of aseptic and sterilization techniques.
- Ability to work in emergency and high-pressure situations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and patient-centric approach.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in handling OBG OT cases, including Caesarean Sections, Hysterectomies, Laparoscopic Gynecology Procedures, and Emergency Obstetric Surgeries.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
Salary
Best in the industry and commensurate with experience.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
