Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to develop, coordinate, and manage 3D electrical models using BIM software. The candidate will work closely with design engineers, architects, and other MEP disciplines to ensure accurate, clash-free, and coordinated electrical models for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Modeling & Drafting
- Develop detailed 3D electrical models in Revit MEP as per design drawings and specifications.
- Create electrical layouts for lighting, power, small power, emergency power, and ELV systems.
- Model cable trays, conduits, panels, transformers, switchgears, and lighting fixtures.
Coordination & Clash Detection
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks or BIM 360 and coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams.
- Resolve design conflicts and update models based on coordination meetings.
Documentation & Deliverables
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and IFC drawings from BIM models.
- Generate schedules, BOQs, and quantities from BIM models.
- Maintain BIM families and project templates.
Standards & Quality Control
- Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company standards.
- Follow international standards (IEC, NEC, BS) and client BIM requirements.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with electrical design engineers and project managers.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and update model progress reports.
Required SkillsSoftware Skills
- Revit MEP (Electrical) – Mandatory
- AutoCAD
- Navisworks Manage (Clash detection)
- BIM 360 / ACC (preferred)
- MS Excel / Office
Technical Knowledge
- Electrical layouts (lighting, power, ELV)
- Cable tray and conduit modeling
- Panel schedules and load schedules
- Electrical symbols and standards
- Basic electrical design concepts (SLD, load calculation, cable sizing – added advantage)
Education
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- BIM certification preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
