Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer with strong expertise in C programming, Linux, Python, and networking protocols. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and troubleshooting embedded software solutions for broadband and networking products. Experience in RDK-B (Reference Design Kit for Broadband) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain software components using C on Linux platforms.
2. Develop and debug networking applications and services for embedded devices.
3. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software and system-level issues.
4. Integrate third-party software components and open-source packages.
5. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
6. Develop Python scripts and tools for automation, testing, and log analysis.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, DevOps, Product Management, and customer teams.
8. Participate in feature development, performance optimization, and release activities.
9. Prepare technical documentation and support customer issue investigations.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in C Programming.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience in multi-threaded and system-level application development.
- Strong experience with Linux development and debugging.
- Experience with debugging tools such as GDB, Valgrind, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including:TCP/IPUDPDHCPDNSIPv4/IPv6Routing and SwitchingNATEthernetHands-on experience in Python scripting.Experience in test automation and log analysis.
- Knowledge of broadband gateways, routers, Wi-Fi technologies, and cable broadband products.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git/GitHub/GitLab.Familiarity with Jira and Linux build environments.
- Good to Have Experience in RDK-B (Reference Design Kit for Broadband).Experience with OpenWrt and Yocto build systems.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Pay: ₹1,440,000.00 - ₹1,680,000.00 per year
