Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Operations Head to support the daily operations of our transport fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing fleet utilization, ensuring smooth transportation operations, maintaining safety standards, optimizing operational costs, and leading the operations team to achieve business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Operations
- Ensure maximum fleet deployment with minimum vehicle downtime.
- Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate timely maintenance.
- Ensure adequate spare bus availability for uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor vehicle breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Scheduling & Route Management
- Ensure smooth bus scheduling and adherence to planned routes.
- Monitor on-time departures and trip completion.
- Minimize missed trips and operational delays.
Manpower Management
- Ensure adequate availability of drivers and operational staff.
- Maintain employee discipline and operational efficiency.
- Monitor staff attendance and reduce attrition.
- Organize regular driver training and development programs.
Cost & Fuel Management
- Optimize fuel consumption and improve fleet mileage.
- Prevent fuel pilferage through regular monitoring and audits.
- Control route-wise operating costs and minimize cost variances.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and transport regulations.
- Monitor vehicle fitness certificates, insurance renewals, permits, and other mandatory documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture and reduce accident cases.
Passenger Service
- Ensure high standards of vehicle cleanliness.
- Address passenger complaints promptly and improve customer satisfaction.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and submit daily operational MIS reports.
- Maintain accurate monthly operational dashboards.
- Analyze operational KPIs and recommend process improvements.

- Experience in managing drivers, vehicle scheduling, fuel management, and operational KPIs.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
