Position: Assistant Pre-Primary Teacher

Reporting To: Pre-Primary Coordinator / Head of School
Job Summary
The Assistant Pre-Primary Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, student supervision, lesson preparation, classroom management, and ensuring the overall well-being of children with the school's policies.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and conducting age-appropriate learning activities.
- Help prepare teaching aids, worksheets, learning materials, and classroom displays.
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Support children during classroom activities, playtime, and learning sessions.
Student Care & Supervision
- Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of all students.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meals, washroom visits, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Supervise students during arrival, dispersal, recess, assemblies, and field trips.
- Provide emotional support and encourage positive behaviour among students.
Classroom Management
- Assist in maintaining discipline using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Help monitor attendance and maintain classroom records as assigned.
- Ensure learning materials and classroom resources are well organized.
Parent Communication
- Coordinate with the Lead Teacher regarding student progress and classroom observations.
- Assist during parent meetings, school events, and orientation programmes whenever required.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Support documentation related to student portfolios, assessments, and classroom activities.
- Participate in school functions, celebrations, and co-curricular activities.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Principal, Coordinator, or School Management.

Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori, or equivalent is preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
