Clinical Spine Fellow (Subspecialty Training Focus)
Position Title: medical Assistant/ Fellow in Spine Surgery

Eligibility: MS / DNB (Orthopedics) with active State Medical Council / NMC registration
Duration: 6–12 Months
Role Overview:
We are inviting applications from qualified orthopedic surgeons for a full-time Clinical Spine Fellowship. This role provides intensive exposure to the non-surgical and surgical management of degenerative, traumatic, and complex spinal disorders, alongside hands-on operative training, clinical research, and outpatient triage.
Key Responsibilities:
Outpatient Triage & Diagnostics: Conduct detailed spine and neurological evaluations; analyze X-rays, CTs, and MRIs; formulate evidence-based conservative and surgical treatment pathways.
Patient Communication: Counsel patients on spinal conditions, intervention risks vs. benefits, and post-operative recovery to facilitate informed decision-making.
Operative Care: First-assist in elective and emergency spine procedures (decompression, discectomy, fusion, trauma fixation, and minimally invasive techniques). Advance to primary surgical steps based on demonstrated competence.
Inpatient & Post-Op Management: Oversee daily ward rounds, direct post-operative rehabilitation protocols, manage acute pain regimens, and coordinate discharge planning.
Academic & Administrative: Maintain surgical logbooks, coordinate weekly clinical/case conferences, and contribute to clinical publications.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
