Operations Manager for Multiple D2C E-Commerce Beauty Brands
Location: Mostly work from home, Hybrid
Experience: 1–3 years
Type: Full-time
About the role
We're a growing e-commerce business looking for an Operations Manager to own our end-to-end order and fulfillment operations. You'll be the person who makes sure every order ships on time, every return is handled cleanly, and stock never runs out unexpectedly. This is a hands-on role for someone who's organized, detail-obsessed, and comfortable living inside tools like Shopify, Shiprocket, and Razorpay.
What you'll do
- Manage daily order fulfillment end-to-end via Shiprocket — from order sync to dispatch, courier assignment, label generation, tracking, and delivery follow-up.
- Manage our Amazon (Seller Central) and Flipkart (Seller Hub) operations — order processing, listings, inventory sync, pricing, returns, and account health.
- Own the RTO (Return to Origin) process: monitor RTO rates, coordinate reattempts, reduce failed deliveries, and reconcile returned inventory.
- Process refunds and cancellations accurately across Shopify and Razorpay, keeping turnaround times low and customers informed.
- Manage inventory end-to-end — stock levels, reorder points, warehouse coordination, and keeping Shopify inventory accurate at all times.
- Coordinate with courier partners, warehouse teams, and customer support to resolve delivery exceptions, NDRs, and escalations.
- Track and report key ops metrics (fulfillment TAT, RTO %, refund TAT, stockouts) and flag issues before they become problems.
- Continuously improve processes and SOPs to make operations faster, cheaper, and more reliable as we scale.
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce / D2C operations, order fulfillment, or supply chain.
- Experience in managing Amazon Seller Central and/or Flipkart Seller Hub — order processing, listings, and returns.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and Shiprocket (or similar shipping aggregators); familiarity with Razorpay refunds is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of RTO, NDR, and reverse logistics in the Indian ecommerce context.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and data — you can pull numbers and make decisions from them.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple orders, partners, and priorities without dropping the ball.
- Good communication skills to coordinate across couriers, warehouse, and internal teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care D2C.
- Familiarity with marketplace ads or catalog optimization on Amazon/Flipkart.
- Exposure to inventory management or WMS tools.
- Basic understanding of ecommerce reconciliation (COD remittance, courier billing).
