Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Engineer with hands-on expertise in Solar Rooftop Projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing the installation, execution, commissioning, and maintenance of rooftop solar systems while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems and be capable of handling site operations independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for rooftop solar installations.
- Prepare technical layouts, system designs, and project execution plans.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of solar rooftop projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, clients, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation of solar PV systems.
- Ensure adherence to electrical and renewable energy regulations.
- Manage project documentation, reports, and completion certificates.
- Support maintenance and after-sales service activities when required.
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Solar Rooftop Project Execution and Installation.
- Knowledge of solar PV system design, net metering, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and project documentation.
- Experience in site management and contractor coordination.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
