- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of main engines, auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, valves, pipelines, and other mechanical equipment onboard tug vessels and at jetty areas.
- Assist in engine overhauling, dismantling, fitting, alignment, and reassembly of marine machinery and equipment.
- Monitor machinery performance and report defects, abnormalities, or operational issues to the Chief Engineer or supervisor.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities as per maintenance schedules and technical instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of engine room, workshop, and machinery spaces.
- Assist during bunkering, fueling, and machinery operations while ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, measuring instruments, welding/cutting tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, marine regulations, and environmental protection standards.
- Maintain maintenance records, spare parts usage, and job completion reports.
- Support emergency repairs and breakdown maintenance during vessel operations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
