To ensure efficient management, maintenance, statutory compliance, and optimum utilization of the company's fleet by minimizing vehicle downtime, controlling maintenance costs, and supporting smooth business operations across all retail outlets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the company's fleet of 2W, 3W, 4W and cars across multiple locations.
* Ensure maximum vehicle availability through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness and roadworthiness.
* Monitor vehicle-wise fuel consumption, mileage and maintenance expenses.
* Coordinate with service centres, garages and vendors for servicing, repairs and emergency breakdown support.
* Obtain quotations, negotiate repair costs and ensure cost-effective maintenance.
* Maintain records of servicing, insurance, RC, PUC, permits and ensure timely renewals.
* Handle accident repairs, insurance claims and related documentation.
* Maintain inventory and replacement schedules for tyres, batteries, spare parts and accessories.
* Ensure driver compliance regarding vehicle care, daily inspections and defect reporting.
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly fleet MIS reports and assist in maintenance budgeting.
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations, company policies and statutory requirements.
* Coordinate with Administration and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted vehicle availability.
Education & Experience
* Graduate in any discipline (Diploma/ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
* 3–5 years' experience in fleet management, transport, logistics or vehicle maintenance.
* Experience handling multiple vehicle categories and multi-location fleet operations.
Required Skills
* Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventive servicing.
* Knowledge of vehicle documentation, insurance and statutory compliance.
* Vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance costing and budget control.
* Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
* Good planning, time management and ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and MIS reporting.
* Knowledge of Google Maps/navigation tools.
* Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving licence preferred.
Working Conditions
* Travel to company retail outlets and vendor locations as required.
* Availability during emergency vehicle breakdowns.
* Weekly off as per company policy.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
