Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to manage the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation systems in our grain-based ethanol manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot field instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, level, pH and other process instruments.
- Handle PLC/DCS/SCADA, control valves, transmitters, sensors, analyzers and actuators.
- Execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper calibration and availability of critical instruments.
- Troubleshoot control loops, alarms, interlocks and process control systems.
- Support smooth operation of instrumentation in fermentation, distillation, dehydration, MEE, boiler, utilities and ETP/STP areas.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets and wiring diagrams.
- Coordinate with Production, Electrical and Mechanical teams for breakdowns and maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance records, calibration reports and spare-parts requirements through ERP/CMMS.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring instrumentation failures.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, SOPs and permit-to-work systems.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in ethanol, distillery, chemical, petrochemical, refinery or other process industries.
- Hands-on experience in industrial instrumentation and automation systems.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of PLC/DCS/SCADA and industrial communication systems will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend plant breakdowns when required.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
