- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate X-ray and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety procedures and minimizing exposure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures performed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Adhere to all hospital or clinic policies, including infection control and patient confidentiality.
- Stay updated on latest imaging techniques, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology / Radiography from a recognized institution.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical proficiency with X-ray equipment and imaging software.
- Knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
