Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Serampore, Hooghly, West Bengal
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹28,000 per month
Experience: 3–5 Years Preferred

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory compliance, and accounting software such as Tally.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Handle GST compliance, including GST return filing, reconciliation, and related documentation.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filing.
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns and assist in tax assessments.
- Handle PF & ESI registration, monthly compliance, and return filing.
- Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statements, and other financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Assist management with budgeting, financial analysis, and MIS reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and Accounting Standards.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good understanding of financial statements and taxation laws.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, HVAC, or project-based industries.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
