We are seeking an experienced Store Officer for our heavy engineering manufacturing unit. The candidate must have strong knowledge of Tally & ERP systems and hands-on experience in handling engineering materials, heavy components, and industrial inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete store operations in a heavy engineering environment
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Tally & ERP
- Handle raw materials, bought-out items, consumables, and heavy mechanical components
- Process GRN, material inward/outward, gate pass, and challan entries
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, QA, and Accounts departments
- Monitor stock levels of steel plates, shafts, bearings, gear components, fasteners, lubricants, etc.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
- Ensure proper storage, tagging, and material identification
- Maintain FIFO system where applicable
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS and stock reports
- Prevent material damage, pilferage, or stock discrepancies
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate (B.Com /BA/BBA)
- 4–6 years of experience in heavy engineering / machinery manufacturing stores
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally & ERP software
- Knowledge of industrial material coding and inventory classification
- Basic understanding of GST documentation and compliance
