Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, tender documents, and project cost analyses for infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, highways, and railway bridge projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and coordination with clients, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for road, bridge, highway, and railway bridge projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Develop and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and Draft Tender Papers (DTPs).
- Conduct rate analysis and cost analysis for various project activities.
- Prepare budgetary estimates and cost comparisons.
- Verify and measure executed quantities of road, bridge, culvert, retaining wall, and associated works.
- Maintain records of drawings, approvals, correspondence, and contract documents.
2. Billing & Coordination
- Manage client billing and payment follow-ups.
- Review and process sub-consultant billing.
- Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and project stakeholders regarding commercial and technical matters.
- Support project teams in resolving estimation and billing-related issues.
3. Technical & Project Support
- Provide cost inputs during project planning and execution stages.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
- Review contract conditions, technical specifications, and scope of work.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and Quantity Take-off.
- Experience in DPR and Draft Tender Document preparation.
- Knowledge of Tender Evaluation for Road & Bridge Projects.
- Proficiency in Rate Analysis and Cost Analysis.
- Experience in Client Billing and Sub-Consultant Billing.
- Strong understanding of Highway, Road, Bridge, and Railway Bridge Projects.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software/tools.
- Government and Private Sector Infrastructure Projects.
- Knowledge of IS code and MORTH standard.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
