We are looking for a highly motivated and technically competent Site Engineer to manage repair, rehabilitation, waterproofing, structural strengthening, and retrofitting works in residential and commercial societies. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site execution, labour management, quality control, client coordination, planning, safety compliance, documentation, and timely completion of projects while maintaining excellent relationships with society members and consultants.
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Candidates with additional certifications in Construction Management, Safety, or Quality Control will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution
- Execute repair and rehabilitation works as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Identify site issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved quality standards.
2. Labour Management
- Estimate skilled and unskilled manpower requirements.
- Allocate work efficiently and monitor labour productivity.
- Ensure labour attendance, discipline, and timely commencement of work.
- Maintain labour deployment records and productivity reports.
3. Material Management
- Estimate material requirements well in advance.
- Coordinate procurement with the office.
- Verify material quality, quantity, and specifications before use.
- Maintain proper material inward/outward registers.
- Ensure minimum material wastage.
4. Quality Control
- Inspect incoming materials before use.
- Ensure proper application procedures as per manufacturer specifications.
- Monitor workmanship and finishing quality.
- Ensure compliance with approved SOPs and quality standards.
- Rectify defects immediately.
5. Customer & Society Management
(Highest Priority)
- Coordinate with the Society Chairman, Secretary, Managing Committee, and residents professionally.
- Attend society meetings whenever required.
- Address residents' complaints promptly and courteously.
- Explain ongoing work, repair methodology, and timelines to clients.
- Maintain cordial relations with society members throughout the project.
- Minimize inconvenience to residents during execution.
- Maintain a complaint register and ensure timely closure of issues.
6. Planning & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and fortnightly work schedules.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure uninterrupted workflow through advance planning.
- Conduct regular progress meetings.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Record site measurements.
- Maintain labour attendance.
- Maintain site expense records.
- Prepare material consumption reports.
- Maintain photographic progress records.
- Submit weekly and monthly progress reports.
8. Safety Management
- Ensure mandatory use of PPE by all workers.
- Conduct toolbox talks.
- Identify unsafe conditions and eliminate hazards.
- Ensure safe storage of materials and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
9. Cost Control
- Monitor material consumption.
- Control labour productivity.
- Minimize wastage and rework.
- Report cost overruns immediately.
10. Technical Coordination
- Study drawings before execution.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and consultants.
- Raise technical queries whenever required.
- Ensure execution as per approved structural details.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Site Engineer shall be evaluated based on:
- Quality of work execution.
- Timely completion of milestones.
- Client and society satisfaction.
- Complaint resolution time.
- Labour productivity.
- Material wastage control.
- Safety compliance.
- Accuracy of documentation.
- Coordination with office and consultants.
- Overall project profitability.

- Positive attitude with strong ownership of work.
- Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Ability to independently handle residential society projects.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai and nearby regions.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Salary
As per qualifications, experience, and performance.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
