Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining quality standards and optimizing project costs. The role requires strong knowledge of interior materials, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Design, Project, Estimation, and Accounts teams for procurement planning and execution.
- Monitor material deliveries and ensure timely availability at project sites.
- Maintain vendor records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, service, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure procurement of materials meets project specifications, quality standards, and budget requirements.
- Track procurement costs, monitor purchase budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and vendor disputes.
- Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and new products related to the interior fit-out industry.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement for interior fit-out, construction, or interior design projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, modular furniture, hardware, plywood, laminates, veneers, electrical, plumbing, lighting, sanitary ware, glass, stone, and finishing materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, inventory planning, and purchase documentation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
