Fireman – Job Description
- Inspection, testing, maintenance and replacement of fire extinguishers and firefighting systems.
- Maintenance of hydrants, monitors, hose boxes, SCBA sets and fire water network.
- Breakdown maintenance, hose pressure testing and replacement activities.
- Emergency standby and turnout duties during emergencies/shutdowns.
- Fire station housekeeping and fire store inventory management.
Qualification:
- 10th Pass with Fireman Training Certificate (6 months) from State Fire Training Institute or equivalent.
Physical Standards:
- Physically fit and medically sound.
- Max age: 40 years.
- Min height: 166 cm.
- Min weight: 55 kg.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
