Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an Infection Control Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care with a focus on infection prevention and control.
- Assisting in the continuous development and training of staff members on infection control protocols and best practices.
- Identifying hazards and potential risks in the workplace and implementing effective solutions to mitigate them.
- Treating emergency injuries and providing immediate care in accordance with established protocols.
- Developing and implementing programs to maintain health and safety standards throughout the organization.
- Identifying and assessing work-related risks to minimize the chances of infections and other occupational hazards.
- Documenting all injuries and illnesses and maintaining accurate records.
knowledge and skills Requirements:
- - Valid nursing license and registration
- - Proven Minimum 1 Year experience as a ICN
- - Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- - Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- - Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- - Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- - Compassionate and empathetic nature
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as an Infection Control Nurse, with a strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for this role.
