Summary
We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our India HR team, supporting identified functions within the India CoE. This role is responsible for working closely with Leadership team and key stakeholders in the Region as well as managers based outside of India, to help implement the business strategy from a people perspective. The HRBP will anchor the people agenda for their business area/ function, alongside global teams of specialists. This role is responsible for end-to-end employee experience in the fx, while offering expertise on all people areas.
Primary Deliverables
- Work with Regional leaders and managers to inform the people strategy. Proactively, decipher, discuss, and resolve people challenges
- Use evidence and data to identify people priorities for the business and address future workforce needs
- Provide guidance on people practices such as, talent development, engagement, and succession planning at mid-levels
- Act as the single point of contact from HR for all employees in the fx, and provide guidance, expert advise and solutions on policy and processes
- Bring people expertise and develop solutions to help the associated business groups to deliver its strategy
- Influence and build relationships with key stakeholders, including external vendors, compliance partners, global centres of excellence
- Act as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches
- Coach and provide feedback to managers on people related matters
- Drive implementation of Onboarding, Performance management, Learning initiatives and employee experience in the Region
- Work collaboratively with peer HR groups across geographies, including CoE leads from Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and HR Operations
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist and partner within internal HR team in the design and implementation of programs to support initiatives such as, DEIB, CSR and so on
- Maintain an understanding of industry best practices on employee experience and share insights and suggestions as applicable with internal teams
Reporting & Stakeholders
This role is an Individual Contributor role. The role will report to the Head of HR APAC and India.
Internal stakeholders: Assigned business functions, internal / global HR centres of excellence, legal and compliance function, Finance & Accounting function, and Facilities functions
External Stakeholders: Vendor partners relevant to talent engagement, staffing, legal representative firms, external HR networking forums, other agencies as needed from time to time.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in human resources, or equivalent combination of education
- 7-8 ye ars of experience in HR Management with a minimum of 5 years in HR Business Partnering.
- Thorough knowledge of HR partnering, preferably working with tech firms
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Workday and openness to actively use technology and AI in augmenting work delivery
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Detail-oriented, self-starter ability to work independently
- Strong problem solver with the ability to present people issues clearly and provide solutions
- Thorough understanding of employment related regulations and legislations in India
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization will be preferred
