As part of our expansion in South India, we are looking for an ambitious, technically competent, and result-oriented Sales Engineer to drive business growth across Bengaluru and adjoining regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities for Vacuum Automation solutions across Bengaluru and adjoining industrial areas.
- Promote vacuum pumps, vacuum conveyors, suction cups, vacuum grippers, End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT), ergonomic lifting devices, and complete vacuum automation systems.
- Identify business opportunities with OEMs, machine builders, robotics system integrators, automotive manufacturers, electronics manufacturers, food processing companies, pharmaceutical companies, packaging industries, warehouse automation companies, and general manufacturing industries.
- Understand customer applications and recommend the most suitable technical solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application discussions with customers.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with application engineering and technical support teams for solution development.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, system integrators, and channel partners.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM records, forecasts, and weekly activity reports.
Preferred Experience
Candidates currently working with manufacturers, distributors, or system integrators of leading Vacuum Automation, Pneumatic Automation, Robotics, or Factory Automation products will be preferred.
Experience with products from companies such as PIAB, Schmalz, SMC, Festo, Camozzi, Parker Hannifin, Emerson, Aventics, Norgren, CKD, Pisco, Bosch Rexroth, Zimmer Group, OnRobot, Robotiq, or similar industrial automation brands will be an added advantage.
Preferred Industry Exposure: Automotive & Electric Vehicle Manufacturing, Robotics & Cobot Automation, Packaging Machinery, Electronics & Semiconductor, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Glass Industry, Plastic & Injection Moulding, CNC Machine Builders, Material Handling & Warehouse Automation, Steel & Metal Processing
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–8 years of successful B2B industrial technical sales experience.
- Strong understanding of Vacuum Automation, Pneumatics, Robotics, EOAT, Material Handling, and Factory Automation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently manage customer meetings, technical discussions, application studies, and commercial negotiations.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka and neighbouring states.
- Valid driving licence.
Candidates with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in Industrial Automation, Vacuum Automation, Robotics, or Factory Automation will be given preference.
