We are seeking a Sales Associate to drive the growth of our meadery by expanding our customer base, increasing sales, and promoting our mead products to distributors, retailers, and consumers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong passion for craft beverages, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify and target potential distributors, retailers, and direct consumers to increase product penetration in key markets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Product Knowledge & Promotion: Be a product expert on all meads and related offerings, educating customers on the unique qualities of our products and promoting sales opportunities.
- Market Research & Analysis: Keep up with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies and approach.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations, trade shows, and events to promote the meadery’s products.
- Order Management: Process orders, track inventory, and ensure timely deliveries to clients.
- Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management team.
- Customer Support: Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a meadery or craft alcohol industry.
- Knowledge of the local market and consumer preferences in the craft beverage space.
- Experience in B2B sales or working with distributors and retailers.
