Job Overview
The Marketing/Sales Person plays a key role in driving student enrollments and expanding market reach for the newly launched Shipping & Logistics Institute and Colleges. This position involves direct sales, relationship building, field activities, and strategic outreach to achieve admission targets. Candidates must be proactive, persuasive, and target-driven, with a strong understanding of Kerala’s logistics and education landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets.
- Convert leads from campaigns, referrals, and field visits.
- Conduct regular visits to colleges, logistics companies, ports, and industry offices.
- Represent the institute at fairs, seminars, and events.
- Organize small-scale info sessions across Kerala.
- Build networks with placement officers and industry professionals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and submit weekly reports.
- Provide market insights and competitor updates.
- Coordinate with admin/academic teams for student onboarding.
Reporting Metrics
- Monthly and quarterly admissions.
- Lead-to-enrollment conversion ratio.
- Number of productive field visits per week.
- New partnerships or channel relationships created.
- Market feedback and competitor intelligence report
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales/marketing (education or logistics preferred).
- Fluency in Malayalam & English; Hindi/Tamil is a plus.
- Strong persuasion, presentation & negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office/CRM tools.
- Willing to travel extensively (own vehicle preferred).
