About BuildArt
BuildArt Interiors & Constructions is a growing architecture, construction, and interior design company based in Trivandrum. We work on residential projects with a focus on quality construction, thoughtful design, and professional project execution.
We are looking for a Civil Engineer who is eager to gain practical experience in construction and project execution and develop their technical skills through hands-on exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers and project teams in day-to-day construction site activities.
- Monitor construction work and ensure execution follows drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist with measurements, quantity calculations, and basic estimation work.
- Support site inspections and maintain records of daily site activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, vendors, and other project team members under supervision.
- Assist in checking the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Help review architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
- Assist with preparing site reports, measurements, checklists, and documentation.
- Observe and learn about construction methods, materials, safety practices, and project management.
- Support the team in ensuring work progresses according to project schedules.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or currently pursuing Civil Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering and construction practices.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and work at construction sites.
- Ability to follow instructions and work responsibly.
