As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for a dynamic Production & Operations Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing and plant operations, drive operational excellence, and build efficient, scalable processes that support our business growth.

Job Description - About the Role
Production Planning & Manufacturing Operations
- Lead end-to-end production planning and execution.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor machine utilization, manpower productivity, and production efficiency.
- Optimize production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Minimize downtime and production bottlenecks.
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Drive capacity planning and production forecasting.
Plant Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations across manufacturing and packaging units.
- Monitor operational performance and productivity metrics.
- Establish SOPs and operational controls across departments.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Production, Procurement, Stores, Dispatch, and Sales teams.
- Maintain operational discipline and process adherence.
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Develop and maintain quality standards for all products and packaging processes.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Lead incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Investigate quality complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor rejection, wastage, and rework levels.
- Ensure continuous improvement in product quality and customer satisfaction.
Printing & Packaging Excellence
- Ensure print quality, packaging accuracy, labeling compliance, and packaging aesthetics.
- Monitor artwork implementation and packaging specifications.
- Minimize printing defects, packaging errors, and customer complaints.
- Optimize packaging material utilization and reduce wastage.
- Ensure adherence to brand and customer packaging standards.
Inventory & Material Management
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Reduce inventory holding costs while maintaining production continuity.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation and process optimization projects.
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Reduce wastage, defects, and operational inefficiencies.
- Establish productivity enhancement programs.
Compliance, Safety & Audits
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, environmental, and labour requirements.
- Maintain plant readiness for internal and external audits.
- Implement workplace safety programs and preventive measures.
- Ensure adherence to FSSAI, GMP, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Monitor corrective actions arising from audits and inspections.
Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead and manage production, operations, quality, stores, and maintenance teams.
- Develop departmental KRAs, KPIs, and performance standards.
- Conduct manpower planning and workforce allocation.
- Drive employee productivity, accountability, and skill development.
- Build a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Cost Management & Profitability
- Monitor production costs and operational expenses.
- Improve yield and reduce material wastage.
- Optimize manpower and machine utilization.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Support business profitability through operational efficiencies.
Management Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports.
- Present operational performance metrics to leadership.
- Analyze production trends, quality metrics, and operational challenges.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and business growth.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification in Operations Management will be an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar industry.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
