Job Summary
The Front Office Assistant is the first point of contact for customers and is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of the bakery shop. This role includes greeting customers, assisting with product selection, processing sales, handling customer inquiries, coordinating orders, and maintaining an organized and welcoming front-of-house environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Assist customers in selecting bakery products, pastries, cakes, snacks, beverages, and ready-to-eat food items.
- Explain products, ingredients, pricing, and current promotions when required.
- Process customer purchases accurately using the POS system and handle cash, card, and digital payments.
- Receive and manage orders for cakes, bulk purchases, and special occasions.
- Coordinate customer orders with the bakery and production team to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
- Answer phone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and assist with order bookings.
- Ensure product displays, shelves, and counters are clean, attractive, and well stocked.
- Monitor product availability and inform the supervisor of low stock levels.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception, billing counter, and customer waiting area.
- Prepare daily sales records and support basic administrative tasks.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company operational standards at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent; a diploma or degree in hospitality, retail, or business is an advantage.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, bakery, café, or food service is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems are desirable.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
