Position Title: Plant Operator
Job Summary: The Plant Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various processes and equipment within a chemical manufacturing facility. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, efficient operation of machinery, and collaboration with team members to ensure optimal plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation and Monitoring:
- Operate and monitor chemical plant equipment and machinery, including reactors, pumps, compressors, and distillation columns.
- Conduct routine inspections and monitor process parameters to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, flow rate, and reactant levels according to specified standards.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response training.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, working with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct quality control tests on products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document and report any deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed logs of plant operations, including process parameters, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to supervisors on plant performance and operational issues.
- Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or related industry.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
