Derma MD Essentials is a dermatologist-led skincare brand founded by Dr. Tanvi Vaidya (Dermatologist, 160K+ Instagram community) and Dr. Abhishek Oka.
Built on years of clinical experience and patient trust, our mission is to create high-quality, dermatologist-formulated skincare products that deliver real results.
Our current product portfolio includes:
- Mattifying Sunscreen
- Moisturiser

With multiple new launches planned, we are now looking for an execution-focused growth professional to help scale the brand across D2C, marketplaces, and digital channels.
This role offers direct exposure to founders, rapid learning opportunities, and the chance to help build a skincare brand from an early stage.
Role Objective
Your primary responsibility is simple:
Drive sustainable growth of Derma MD Essentials across D2C, marketplaces, retention channels, and digital marketing while maintaining premium brand positioning.
You will own growth initiatives, coordinate execution across teams and agencies, analyse performance, and help scale revenue profitably.
Key Responsibilities
1. E-commerce Growth
- Drive growth of the Shopify D2C website
- Monitor and improve website conversion rates
- Optimise customer journeys and purchase funnels
- Coordinate landing page improvements and CRO initiatives
- Analyse customer behaviour and identify growth opportunities
- Work with developers, designers, and agencies to improve website performance
2. Marketplace Growth
- Drive growth across Amazon, Nykaa, and future marketplace channels
- Improve marketplace visibility and sales performance
- Monitor ratings, reviews, search rankings, and listing performance
- Coordinate catalogue optimisation and marketplace marketing activities
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability by channel
Note: Routine catalogue management and operational activities may be supported by dedicated operations personnel.
3. Performance Marketing
- Coordinate Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
- Work closely with external agencies and freelancers
- Monitor and improve:
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
- Conversion Rates
- Revenue Growth
- Assist with campaign planning, budgeting, and performance reviews
- Support new product launches and promotional campaigns
4. Content & Brand Growth
- Coordinate creation of social media content, ad creatives, website assets, and email campaigns
- Work with doctors, content creators, editors, designers, and photographers
- Help translate clinical expertise into engaging consumer content
- Maintain consistency in brand communication across all channels
- Support influencer and creator collaborations
5. CRM & Retention Marketing
- Execute WhatsApp, email, and retention marketing initiatives
- Develop customer engagement and repeat purchase programs
- Improve customer lifetime value and retention metrics
- Build and optimise automated customer journeys
- Coordinate loyalty and referral initiatives
6. Product Launches & Growth Initiatives
- Support launch planning and execution for new products
- Coordinate launch campaigns across all channels
- Monitor launch performance and customer feedback
- Recommend growth experiments and new revenue opportunities
- Assist founders in evaluating new channels and growth initiatives
7. Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain weekly growth dashboards
- Track and analyse:
- Revenue
- Website conversion rates
- CAC
- ROAS
- Repeat purchase rates
- Marketplace performance
- Product-wise performance
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to founders
