We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with 5+ years of experience in managing GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal operations, handling government sector clients, and driving sales growth in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in client relationship management, requirement gathering, bid/tender management, and business development to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Manage sales activities through the GeM Portal, including bid participation, tender submissions, and order execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government departments, PSUs, and key FMCG clients.
- Gather and analyze client requirements to propose suitable products and solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads in government and private sectors.
- Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close sales deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, prepare reports, and achieve assigned targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience with exposure to GeM Portal, Government Sales, and FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of tendering, procurement processes, and client management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
