Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) component design using UG NX (Siemens NX). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and optimizing die casting designs for automotive or manufacturing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) components using UG NX (Siemens NX).
- Create and modify 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and detailed engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with product development teams to understand design requirements and deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Analyze and optimize casting designs to improve manufacturability, reduce defects, and enhance product quality.
- Prepare and maintain design specifications, process documentation, and technical reports.
- Troubleshoot design, tooling, and manufacturing issues related to die casting components.
- Coordinate with production and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product development and successful implementation.
- Stay updated with the latest die casting technologies, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with UG NX (Siemens NX).
- Good knowledge of High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) component design.
- Experience in 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, and GD&T.
- Understanding of casting processes, tooling concepts, and manufacturing practices.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in designing aluminum die-cast components is an added advantage.
