Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Reports To: Supervising Physician / Medical Director
Job Summary
A Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician. PAs examine patients, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications (as permitted by law), assist in surgeries, and provide preventive healthcare services. They work in hospitals, clinics, private practices, and other healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Assist physicians during medical procedures and surgeries.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Physician Assistant licensure/certification in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Certification by the relevant national certifying body (where required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
