Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Control
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on the order details given by the Unit head/GM
- Allocate production lines based on order priority and capacity, ensure the delivery date before sewing starts
- Monitor production output against targets , Basic T-shirt 1500 pcs/day, Polo 600 pcs/day, Children set 700 sets/day
- Ensure smooth workflow across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing
2. Team & Line Management
- Supervise line supervisors, line leaders, and operators – highlight the critical issues and solve it then and there
- Monitor line efficiency and productivity ->95%
- Manage manpower allocation and overtime planning – with management approval
- Motivate and guide teams to achieve production goals – on time delivery, right quality
3. Process Optimization
- Improve line balancing and work distribution
- Reduce production downtime and bottlenecks
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques
- Ensure optimal machine utilization
4. Quality Control Coordination
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards Major 4.0, Minor 2.5 Level II AQL standard
- Ensure production follows approved samples , File, Trims card , packing approval and specifications
- Address and resolve quality issues immediately , highlight the critical issues
- Reduce rejection and rework rates <2%
5. Material & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with store and merchandising teams for material availability and ensure the right quality / quantity
- Prevent production stoppages due to material shortages – ensure the required quantity before production starts
- Monitor fabric and trim consumption – update immediately if there are any shortages
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to factory compliance standards – records/materials/equipment
- Maintain workplace safety regulations – FIRE EXIT always open ,remove the obstacle’s in front of the FIRE extinguisher
- Enforce company policies and production procedures – conduct style meeting before cutting/sewing starts
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily production reports and efficiency analysis – submit the report to the higher official same day
- Report production status to management- update daily production status on the board and ledger
- Maintain records of production, downtime, and quality performance – reduce the re-work to maintain the required quality standard
