Job Summary
The B2B Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, corporate clients, and business partners to increase the company's wholesale jewellery sales. The candidate will manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order execution while ensuring excellent client service and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new B2B customers including jewellery retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing business partners.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Schedule client meetings, product presentations, and business visits.
- Present jewellery collections and explain product specifications, pricing, and customization options.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close business deals.
- Coordinate with production, inventory, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, payments, and deliveries.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from clients.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
- Represent the company at jewellery exhibitions, trade fairs, and business events.
- Build long-term business relationships to maximize repeat business.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and MIS reports to the management.
- Stay updated with jewellery market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of gold, diamond, and jewellery products.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and business development.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or any relevant field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Wholesale Sales.
- Experience in the Jewellery, Luxury Retail, Gold, Diamond, Gemstone, or Lifestyle industry is preferred.
