Job Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management of the organization's operations, business performance, and profitability. The role involves leading all departments, ensuring operational excellence, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, and achieving organizational goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Drive organizational growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Prepare annual business plans, budgets, and operational targets.
- Support the Managing Director in strategic decision-making.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee Production, Merchandising, HR, Finance, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, Administration, and Logistics.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all departments.
- Monitor production schedules and delivery commitments.
- Improve productivity and operational efficiency.
3. Production & Manufacturing
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines.
- Monitor production planning, capacity utilization, and efficiency.
- Reduce production costs through process improvements.
- Ensure product quality meets customer requirements.
4. Financial Management
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets.
- Control operational expenses and improve profitability.
- Review financial reports, costing, and revenue performance.
- Approve major purchases within delegated authority.
5. Human Resource Management
- Lead and mentor department heads.
- Approve manpower planning and recruitment requirements.
- Conduct performance reviews of department heads.
- Promote employee engagement and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies.
6. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems.
- Maintain compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, health & safety standards, and customer audit requirements.
- Ensure statutory compliance across departments.
7. Customer & Business Development
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Resolve critical customer issues.
- Support business expansion initiatives.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
8. Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures throughout the factory.
- Minimize operational risks.
- Conduct periodic safety and compliance reviews.
9. Reporting & Review
- Present monthly business performance reports to Management.
- Review departmental KPIs and initiate corrective actions.
- Conduct regular management review meetings.

Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in General Manager position
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role such as General Manager, Plant Head, or Operations Head.

Pay: Up to ₹120,000.00 per month
