About the Role / Position Summary
A Leading NBFC is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for our Coimbatore, TN location. This is for a leading Kerala-based Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) with over 25+ years of experience in delivering financial services across India. They specialize in retail and SME lending solutions, including gold loans, business loans, vehicle loans, and microfinance services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily morning meetings and communicate management circulars and instructions.
- Control expenses within permitted levels.
- Authenticate all vouchers and branch registers after verification.
- Review daily transactions and complete day-end tasks.
- Safeguard the first set of keys and all documents.
- Custodian of unused cheques and other important documents.
- Oversee branch business targets and loan recovery tasks.
- Monitor and achieve business targets for the branch.
- Verify system entries and authorize at the final level.
- Address customer complaints and grievances.
- Report daily cash and bank positions to Regional Office Managers (ROMs).
- Manage remittance of funds and receipt of funds from the Head Office/branches.
- Submit Branch Return Statements (BRS) to the Head Office on time, with a copy to ROMs.
- Obtain all statutory licenses in a timely manner and ensure renewals.
- Respond to alert phone calls from the intrusion alarm hub and take immediate action according to guidelines.
- Verify and inspect pledged items, checking their purity.
- Address audit queries and rectifications.
- Maintain a customer database.
- Manage branch administration and maintain a professional work environment.
- Participate in business promotion activities and conduct regular customer meetings.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Any undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Preferred Skills
- 1 - 3 years branch operations assistance
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
