Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Assign daily tasks, train new workers, evaluate performance, and coach staff.
- Operations Planning: Follow production schedules, manage workflow, and meet daily output goals.
- Quality & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain quality control standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix machine or process bottlenecks quickly to reduce downtime.
- Reporting: Record daily metrics and report shift progress to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Education: High school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or manufacturing is often preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant work in a manufacturing or factory setting, with prior leadership experience.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and basic computer proficiency
