Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and execution-focused Senior Video Editor who can take complete ownership of the post-production process.
This is not a basic editing role.
You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-retention content across podcasts, reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, and branded content while maintaining world-class quality standards.
The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, audience psychology, social media trends, and cinematic editing.
Key ResponsibilitiesPodcast Editing
- Edit long-form podcast episodes.
- Create engaging multi-camera podcast cuts.
- Remove pauses, filler words, mistakes, and dead spaces.
- Improve flow, retention, and storytelling.
Short Form Content
- Create high-performing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn videos.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, zooms, animations, and sound effects.
- Understand hooks, retention patterns, and viral editing styles.
Corporate & Brand Content
- Edit promotional videos, testimonials, founder stories, and corporate films.
- Maintain brand consistency across projects.
- Deliver client-ready outputs with minimal revisions.
Creative Direction
- Suggest editing concepts and storytelling improvements.
- Recommend visual enhancements.
- Stay updated with global editing trends.
Team Leadership
- Manage junior editors and freelancers.
- Review edits before final delivery.
- Create and maintain editing SOPs.
- Ensure timely project completion.
Required SkillsSoftware Expertise
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- DaVinci Resolve ( good to have )
Must Have
- Minimum 3+ years of professional editing experience.
- Strong understanding of storytelling.
- Motion graphics knowledge.
- Audio enhancement and color correction skills.
- Experience editing podcasts and social media content.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
