1. Educational Qualifications
- Essential: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or Diploma in Electronics, ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering), EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), or equivalent.
- Preferred: Certification in electronics assembly or IPC soldering standards (e.g., IPC-A-610).
2. Required Skills & Competencies
- Soldering & Component Level Repair: Hands-on experience in through-hole (THT) and Surface Mount Device (SMD) soldering.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose faults in PCBs, power supplies, motors, and controllers using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and continuity testers.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading circuit diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Experience in assembling electronic components, panel wiring, and cable harnessing.
- Safety Adherence: Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices and safety guidelines.
3. Experience
- Entry Level: 0–2 years (Freshers with strong ITI/Diploma training are often considered).
- Experienced: 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, maintenance, or repair services.
4. Responsibilities
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on machines.
- Replace faulty components (ICs, resistors, capacitors) on boards.
- Maintain production records and technical documentation.
5. Employment Details
- Type: Full-time, Permanent (often in manufacturing units, service centers, or defense/automation companies).
- Salary Range: Typically ranges from ₹12,000 - ₹30,000 per month based on experience and location in India (e.g., Tamil Nadu, Karnataka).
