ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Architect Vistex, you will define and govern the endtoend architecture of SAP Vistex solutions used for enterprise pricing, incentives, rebates, agreements, claims, and settlement processes. The role is deeply technical, requiring strong expertise in Vistex configuration internals, SAP SD/FI data models, integration frameworks, and custom enhancements. You will act as the design authority for Vistex implementations, defining scalable solution patterns, optimising performance for highvolume pricing and settlement transactions, and ensuring architectural alignment across SAP ECC or S/4HANA landscapes. The role requires close collaboration with SAP Basis, ABAP, middleware, and enterprise architecture teams to deliver robust, secure, and extensible Vistex platforms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Certifications
o Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or
o Information Systems
o SAP certification in Vistex or SAP SD highly preferred
o SAP Solution Architect, S/4HANA, or Enterprise Architecture certifications are preferred as well
o Required Experience
o 912 years of experience delivering SAP Vistex technical or technofunctional solutions in enterprise environments
o Strong experience designing and implementing Vistex modules including Pricing, Rebates, Incentives, Agreements, Claims, Chargebacks, and Settlements
o Handson experience designing custom enhancements, exits, BAdIs, and interfaces in Vistexenabled SAP systems
o Proven experience working in GCC or global SAP delivery models supporting multiregion business processes
o Experience handling highvolume pricing, retrobilling, and settlement processing with performance and scalability considerations
o Essential skills
o Deep technical understanding of SAP Vistex architecture, data structures, and pricing engines
o Strong expertise in SAP SD pricing, condition techniques, contracts, and settlement data models as used by Vistex
o Proven ability to design VistexSAP integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services, and middleware platforms
o Strong understanding of SAP ABAP concepts including enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, performance optimisation, and debugging
o Experience defining nonfunctional architecture covering performance, batch processing, error handling, reconciliation, and auditability
o Ability to perform technical design reviews, validate build quality, and enforce architectural standards
o Strong problemsolving skills for complex systemic issues across pricing, settlement, and financial reconciliation flows
o Desired skills
o Experience with ViZi analytics, pricing reports, and settlement analytics from a technical design perspective
o Exposure to S/4HANA migration or brownfield transformation involving Vistex components
o Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other integration platforms supporting Vistex ecosystems
o Experience working in Agile or scaled Agile SAP delivery models
o Ability to produce lowlevel design documents, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and performance models
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery and Execution
o Define and own the architecture for SAP Vistex covering pricing, rebate processing, incentive calculations, claims, and settlements
o Design scalable and high performance Vistex configuration and enhancement patterns aligned with SAP SD and FI architectures
o Architect and govern integration flows between Vistex, SAP core modules, and external systems
o Guide ABAP and integration teams on custom development, enhancements, and performance optimisation
o Perform technical reviews of configuration, code, interfaces, and batch jobs to ensure quality and adherence to standards
o Lead root cause analysis of complex production issues involving pricing discrepancies, settlement failures, or performance bottlenecks
o Define upgrade, patching, and transport strategies for Vistex components across environments
o Support and Enablement
o Establish and maintain Vistex technical standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns
o Mentor senior engineers and functional consultants on deep technical aspects of Vistex and SAP pricing engines
o Collaborate with SAP Basis and Infrastructure teams on sizing, batch scheduling, and runtime optimisation
o Provide technical input into roadmap planning, enhancements, and Vistex version upgrades
o Maintain architectural documentation including solution designs, interface maps, data flows, and technical runbooks
o Stay current with Vistex releases, SAP kernel updates, and industry best practices
