Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of BIM processes for rail and metro infrastructure projects including stations, depots, tunnels, and track systems.
- Coordinate BIM activities across Civil, Structural, Architectural, Track, Systems, and MEP disciplines.
- Manage BIM models for rail components such as platforms, tunnels, viaducts, track alignment, signaling rooms, and station facilities.
- Perform multidisciplinary clash detection and ensure resolution of design conflicts prior to construction.
- Assist in integrating BIM models with construction schedules for 4D simulation of rail project activities.
- Ensure compliance with client BIM standards and rail authority requirements.
- Support coordination with contractors, consultants, and system vendors during design and construction stages.
- Monitor model updates and maintain accurate revision control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical support to construction teams for resolving site coordination issues.
- Assist in preparation of asset information models and digital handover documentation.
- Supervise BIM team members and ensure adherence to project BIM standards and workflows.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and progress reporting for rail projects.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience.
Skills Required
- Multidisciplinary Coordination: Running clash detection, managing interdisciplinary design reviews, and leading coordination meetings to resolve conflicts before construction.
4. Leadership & Soft Skills
- Team Leadership: Guiding, mentoring, and upskilling BIM modelers and coordinators.
- Communication: Acting as the intermediary between design teams, project managers, site operatives, and clients.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving potential constructability issues using the model.
- Quality Audits: Conducting regular BIM audits to ensure model accuracy, data integrity, and compliance.
- Subcontractor Management: Assisting in supply chain assessments and reviewing 3D models submitted by subcontractors.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in EPC / Infrastructure / Smart Building projects.
- Ability to work independently.
