About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst Intern who is passionate about working with data and generating meaningful business insights. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to support strategic decision-making across various business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and maintain business data from multiple sources.
- Clean and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Develop dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI.
- Analyze sales, operations, finance, and customer data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.
- Generate MIS reports for management.
- Assist in forecasting and performance tracking.
- Create data visualizations, charts, and presentations.
- Support automation of repetitive reports wherever possible.
- Maintain confidentiality of company data.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, Charts).
- Good understanding of Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of databases.
- Familiarity with business KPIs and reporting.
- Knowledge of data cleaning techniques.
Educational Qualification
- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's/Master's degree in:
