About the Role
we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging short-form videos for social media and digital marketing campaigns. You will work closely with our Content Creator and marketing team to transform raw footage into high-quality, publish-ready content.
Candidates with basic videography skills will have an added advantage, but strong video editing skills are the primary requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos including Reels, YouTube Shorts, testimonials, product demos, unboxing videos, and advertisements.
- Add captions, transitions, background music, sound effects, and basic colour correction.
- Create engaging edits with strong hooks for social media platforms.
- Export videos in the correct formats and aspect ratios for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the Content Creator and marketing team to understand creative briefs.
- Organize and maintain video files and project assets.
- Deliver high-quality videos within deadlines and monthly production targets.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Final Cut Pro
- Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and social media video trends.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
Preferred Skills
- Basic videography skills (camera or smartphone shooting).
- Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and digital advertisements.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, colour grading, or basic animation.
- Portfolio showcasing previous editing work.
